CCS’s Amazing Elkhart Race

CCS’s Amazing Elkhart Race is coming up on Saturday, May 12.  This is an opportunity for teams of 4 to navigate 12 physical and mental challenges all over the amazing city of Elkhart, compete for a $2,000 grand prize, and support CCS all at one time!

Have we made you curious?

To learn more, check Amazing Elkhart Race on Facebook, go to our First Giving Amazing Elkhart Race page to register, or see below.

Will you help us spread the buzz?   Please “like” and share these pages.  Only the first 20 teams will be able to compete.

When: Saturday, May 12, 2012

What: 12 physical,  mental and fun challenges.

Where: Starts at the Civic Plaza, downtown Elkhart. Ends at CCS, 907 Oakland Ave.

Who: Teams of 4 adventure-seeking people, 18+ years old.

Why: First, it will be a blast!  Secondly, it will benefit Church Community Services‘ local food pantry, Soup of Success women’s job and life skills training program, and emergency financial assistance.

How to participate: To sign up your team, set up your personalized fundraising page using First Giving. Then tell all your friends—by Facebook, Twitter, email, etc. – to go there and support you. Offline donations can be counted, too. You’ll learn all about that as you do your page set up.

Registration Deadline: April 15  – There is a minimal $50 registration fee per person. However,  each person who raises at least $250 for CCS by April 15–using First Giving or offline–will have the registration fee waived.  Only the first 20 teams will be accepted.
