Thankful Thursday 2/23/12

Welcome to the second installment of Thankful Thursdays!  Each week, we are listing a few of the reasons that we are so incredibly thankful.

Thank you to:

  • Phase II construction has finally begun out in Building B, which will result in a larger pantry and food warehouse, and the funds given that make it possible.
  • The Bratt, Hoeft, Nelson and Vetne families that make up “Acts 3″ – a group of delightful, enthusiastic volunteers who help us every single Sunday with absolutely anything that needs to be done around the agency.
  • A grant received from Evangelical Lutheran Church of America to help us purchase some food pantry equipment.
  • Alice Roth – who helps Carol Willis, CCS Director of Development, in the office every Wednesday morning
  • Brenda Miller from Sew Creative Threads - who sewed up the Soup Of Success individual class quilts this week
  • Hand Sanitizer.  Without you, our entire group of staff and volunteers would be sick.
