Church Community Services–CCS–is a faith-based not-for-profit agency helping people of Elkhart County, Indiana, weather life’s storms and build more secure futures. We do this through emergency assistance and intensive job and life skills training.

CCS makes God’s love visible and relevant for all people. We are God’s hands in the community.

We serve over 16,000 people each year by

  • Feeding the hungry through our Client Choice Food Pantry
  • Providing crisis assistance to prevent eviction or utility shut-off
  • Providing transportation to jobs
  • Covering prescription costs.
  • Empowering change, one woman at a time, through our Soup of Success Job and Life Skill Training Program.

  1. This is for Dean! Our church secretary e-mailed me a copy of your letter to Jamestown Youth Group in regards to our “Dude Looks Like a Lady” Fashion Show. Needless to say, we had an absolute blast doing this for CCS! I’ve never seen so much makeup, fake hair, and pantyhose flying around in my life. The men in our congregation went above and beyond for this unique event and all for Church Community Services that so effectively helps our brothers and sisters in our community. People that I thought would NEVER do this, were some of the first to volunteer. Please e-mail me with any specific questions you may have, and I will be sending you a DVD of the event. I’m on vacation until July 7th, but will send it afterwards.
