Planting seeds of all kinds

This week we were pleased to receive a donation of 38 Belladonna tomato plants in memory of Joe Koscielny.

Another 89 lbs. of radishes came in from the River Oaks Community Church garden this week!

Katie talked to the children gathered for Pleasant View Mennonite Church‘s Vacation Bible School every morning Mon-Fri. this week, and to the parents on Thursday evening. They chose Seed to Feed as their mission project this year. The final count isn’t in yet but they’ve raised at least $1,300 for us. Plus, the kids learned about gardening, and each planted a green bean seed to donate to the Seed to Feed garden.

We got 8 rows of plastic put down in the large CCS garden, and the first row of plants are in.
