We thinned the carrots at the CCS garden, and some of the thinnings were big enough to eat. They didn’t last long as other pantries shopping at the food bank snapped them right up!
On Wednesday the first two watermelon of the season were ripe in the CCS garden.
We had 1/4 of a beef donated via the fair. We picked it up from the processor Wednesday morning, and most of it was distributed the same day. Here is some of the ground beef on the freezer shelf in the pantry.
